Important Guidelines for Discipline and Order

  • To take leave during school hours, a parent must sign the register in person at the school. Leave requested on a separate paper or in a diary will not be granted.
  • When collecting your child during school hours, please bring the fee card to confirm you are the parent. Without it, leave will not be granted.
  • If a child is absent without prior approval, they must bring a parent’s note in the diary the next day.
  • A student absent from an examination due to illness must submit a doctor’s certificate.
  • The Principal may cancel a student’s admission and issue a school-leaving certificate for repeated absence or misconduct.
  • The progress report is sent home each month; a parent must review it and sign.
  • The school uniform must be worn regularly. Students not in uniform will not be allowed to sit in class. Boys wear lace-up shoes and girls wear buckled shoes. (Velcro shoes are not allowed.)
  • To obtain a school-leaving certificate, a parent must apply in person before withdrawing the child. The fee must be paid by the last day of the month in which the application is submitted.
  • Parents must pay for any damage caused by a student to school property.
  • Do not pack wafers, kurkure, mamra, or fried food. Send green salad, fruit, boiled sprouts or vegetables, and roti. If a child forgets their lunchbox, parents may not drop it off later.
  • To discuss your child’s studies or raise any complaint, meet the class or subject teacher only during the school’s fixed hours, after the Principal’s permission.
  • Computer is compulsory in the Standard 8, 9, and 11-12 Science group. In Standard 10, Physical Education may be chosen as an optional subject.
  • The school provides clean, cool drinking water, so there is no need to bring a water bag or bottle.
  • Notes about irregular classwork or homework are recorded on pages 6 to 9 of the diary. Parents should check these pages daily.
  • These rules, and any future additions or changes, are binding on students and parents alike.

Student Code of Conduct

  • I will make every effort to attend school on time.
  • I will always come in full uniform and arrive before the prayer assembly.
  • I will keep my mind, body, and clothes clean.
  • I will study attentively and listen carefully to my teachers.
  • I will try to do well in every test and examination.
  • I will bring the required books and materials on time, as per the timetable.
  • I will do my homework daily and study at home every day according to my schedule.
  • I will reflect each day on what I have learned.
  • I will build the habit of waking early, praying, and greeting my parents with respect.
  • I will return any lost item I find to its owner or to the school.
  • I will always put litter in the bin and keep my classroom and school clean.
  • I will have the courage to report any breach of discipline, even by a stranger.
  • I will behave respectfully toward my elders, both in and outside school.
  • I will keep faith in God, always speak the truth, look and listen for the good, and obey my teachers and parents.
  • I will read and reflect on biographies of great people, and on books of science and literature in my free time.

Guidelines for Aware Parents

  • Check the homework noted in the diary, confirm it is done, and sign beneath it.
  • If your child brings home something belonging to someone else, please send it back to school.
  • Good values are in your child’s interest, so guide them toward good company.
  • Do not let your child wear or carry any risky items or expensive valuables.
  • Take care that your child does not become a target of bad habits.
  • Encourage your child to take an interest in activities and give them your time.
  • Allow limited television time, and make sure they watch only good, informative, age-appropriate programs.
  • Building a regular exercise habit will keep your child physically and mentally fit.
  • Ensure your child takes part in school activities and events wherever possible.
  • Review the diary when it is sent home, so you stay informed of your child’s progress.
  • If your child has a mobile or home internet, watch that they don’t misuse it, to avoid a bad influence on their mind.
  • Per government order, students must not bring two-wheelers to school.
